Check out the Bhakti Academy, an educational program at the Krishna House designed to provide a full-immersion ashram experience while you finish your degree.
Bhakti Academy students explore ancient Vedic scriptures like the Bhagavad Gita and Srimad Bhagavatam (foundational literature on bhakti yoga philosophy) and learn about mantra meditation, devotional music, Sanskrit & vegetarian cooking.
In exchange for tuition and room & board, Bhakti Academy students serve Krishna Lunch on campus, take part in Krishna House programs, organize community educational classes and/or help maintain the ashram facility. As another option, students may pay $500 per month for a private room, meals, and utilities.
You are also welcome to visit the Krishna House, which is located at 214 NW 14th St. We have evening classes on Tuesday (6:30pm), Friday (7pm) and Sunday (12pm) that include discussions on self-realization, devotional music, and a free vegetarian meal. Join our free yoga class on Thursdays at 7pm or stop by any day of the week (M-F) for late Krishna Lunch on the front porch (12:30-4pm). We look forward to meeting you!
